¿What is a Junior Enterprise?

A junior enterprise is a local non-profit organization entirely executed by students. Located in the heart of a university, it provides students with the opportunity to experience unique learning opportunities by doing professional project work on and managing small- to medium-sized enterprises, with the goal of adding practical experience to their theoretical skills and bridging the gap between academia and the business world.

Junior Enterprises work both for public and private companies and try to get the practical preparation needed for their incorporation to the business world.

The broad majority of them offer services related to consultancy. However, in Spain there are those who work in the following areas:

  1. Telecommunications engineering projects.

  2. Business consultancy.

  3. Publicity and communication.

  4. Geotechnics and environment.

  5. Marketing studies.

  6. Computer engineering projects.
